Ƿyrceþrang Áspyre

Systemized Games for Emergent Experiences

Follow for Updates

Ƿyrceþrang Áspyre

The name is constructed from two old english words; it combines "Ƿyrceþ" (it works) and "þrang" (throng or crowd) with "Áspyre" (investigate, study discover). This embodies an unconventional approach constructing experimental games using systems that yield novel emergent experiences.

You can call this the work-throng. Our current project is Pact, a system-driven action RPG set in a bright fantasy world.

Click any of the cards below to find a download link. Those marked as tech demos are not particularly fun, instead I built them to try out a shiny new piece of gamedev tech. Monster League and Killer Crusade will require a Java runtime environment, the rest are Unity games.

Zombie Boids

Survive against over 1,000 zombies running a custom Boid behavior using Unity DOTS.
